Product Information
This fan offers excellent performance in a compact and smart design. It is a 100 mm (4″) axial extractor fan from the trusted brand Vent‑Axia, designed specifically for bathrooms or toilets. The fan body is rated at IP X5, making it suitable for installation in zone 1 (above baths/showers) where steam and moisture are common. It features a high-efficiency motor, and two selectable speeds at installation to suit varying room sizes and duct run lengths.
A major highlight is how quietly it operates — on its lower setting it can run from as low as 12 dB(A), making it whisper-quiet. The higher setting still maintains good performance: for example 76 m³/h (which is about 21 L/s) on high speed. On top of this, the “HT” in the model stands for Humidistat plus Timer. The humidistat detects elevated humidity levels and switches the fan on automatically; the built-in timer then allows the fan to continue running for a set period (about 15 minutes) after humidity drops or the trigger ends.
From an installation and specification standpoint: the unit measures approx. 160 mm × 160 mm in its front face, with an overall depth around 117 mm (varies slightly by source) and uses a standard 100 mm duct connection. It comes with back-draught shutters included, which help prevent cold air entering when the fan is off. Overall it’s a premium choice for those wanting a quiet, automatic, moisture-responsive extractor fan in a bathroom or en-suite.
