Product Information
In terms of installation and practicality, the VASF100HTC is compact (roughly 160 × 160 mm faceplate) and adaptable. It is IPX5 rated and suitable for bathroom Zone 1 installation, meaning it can resist water jets and be placed in moisture-prone areas. The unit supports wall, ceiling, window, or panel mounting, and includes back-draught shutters to prevent unwanted airflow when the fan is off.
This fan is part of Vent-Axia’s Lo-Carbon Silent range and is engineered for ultra-quiet continuous operation. It begins at just 12 dB(A) on its trickle setting, making it whisper-silent in normal use. It features a high-efficiency motor with a rated lifetime of around 40,000 hours and comes with a 5-year warranty, ensuring long service life and reliability.
The “HTC” in its model name highlights its Humidity Timer + Continuous functionality. In other words, it operates continuously at a low trickle rate but will automatically boost its airflow when humidity rises (via a built-in humidistat) and maintain operation for a preset overrun time after activation. It also includes variable speed adjustment during installation so that the trickle and boost volumes can be tuned to the room’s ventilation needs.
