The fan uses a mixed-flow impeller design which supports effective performance even with moderate duct runs, and includes an anti-back-draft shutter to stop unwanted airflow when the fan is off.
What sets the “T” variant apart is the built-in adjustable run-on timer (typically from ~2 to 30 minutes) so after the lights or switch go off, the fan keeps running to clear lingering moisture and odours. It is designed for quiet operation — noise level is about 29 dB(A) under typical conditions—which helps the unit stay unobtrusive in a domestic bathroom environment.
In terms of installation and efficiency: the unit is rated for wall or ceiling mounting, finished in white to blend into most interior styles, and backed by a 5-year motor warranty. It draws modest power (for example ~8 W) and is designed to meet building-regulation ventilation standards in the UK (Part F/L) when installed correctly.
