This model is designed to deliver effective ventilation for smaller bathrooms, en-suites or toilets: it features a 100 mm (4″) duct connection and an airflow rate of approximately 90 m³/h (≈ 25 l/s) in standard conditions. The fan uses a mixed-flow impeller design which helps maintain good performance even with modest duct runs.
What sets the TRIO100H apart is the built-in humidity sensor (humidistat) and adjustable run-on timer. The sensor triggers when the relative humidity rises above a set threshold, and the fan continues to run for a preset time (often adjustable in the range of 2-30 minutes) after the threshold event. Additionally, it operates quietly — noise levels as low as ~29 dB(A) are quoted under certain conditions — making it suitable for locations where minimal disturbance is important.
From an installation and compliance viewpoint, the TRIO100H is suitable for wall or ceiling mounting, is built with UV-resistant ABS plastics and includes a back-draft shutter to prevent unwanted airflow when off. Wiring is typically straight-forward (live/neutral and sensor/timer connections) but as always must meet local regulations (e.g., RCD in bathrooms) and ensure correct positioning of the humidity sensor for reliable operation.
