The CALM-125 S from the Blauberg “Calm” series is designed for larger bathrooms, utility rooms or wet zones where a robust airflow is needed. With a 125 mm (5″) duct connection it can move up to approximately 187 m³/h (≈ 52 l/s) of air, making it effective at clearing humidity and odors quickly. The unit employs a mixed-flow impeller and is engineered with anti-vibration mounts to keep noise to around 32 dB(A)—ideal for maintaining a quieter environment.
The standout feature of this variant is the manual pull-cord control, allowing on/off operation simply and intuitively; there’s no timer, sensor or automation in this model which keeps installation straightforward. A built-in back-draft shutter prevents unwanted external air when the fan is not operating, helping maintain comfort and efficiency.
From a compliance and reliability standpoint, the CALM-125 S is rated IP45 (suitable for installation in bathroom Zones 1 & 2 when wired via an RCD) and meets UK ventilation building regulations (Parts F & L). It is backed by a German-engineered motor and comes with a 5-year warranty, making it a reliable choice for a residential wet‐room ventilation upgrade without over-complication.
