Product Information
This extractor fan from Vent‑Axia has been designed for ducted or through-the-wall domestic ventilation in spaces like bathrooms, toilets or utility rooms. It uses a 100 mm (4″) spigot for connection, and is suitable for flush or surface mounting on walls, ceilings or panels.
Performance-wise, the fan features a centrifugal impeller (which is better suited to longer duct runs than simple axial fans) and offers a boost/extract rate around 18 litres per second (≈ 65 m³/h) according to one listing. It also operates at a low sound level (≈ 33.5 dB(A)) and is filterless (the impeller design avoids the need for a separate filter).
In terms of smart features and compliance, the Solo Plus T model incorporates an adjustable over-run timer (so after the light or switch turns off the fan continues running for a set period) and supports a constant trickle ventilation mode (if selected) to maintain minimal airflow even when not boosting. It is rated IPX4 for general use (i.e., splash-proof) and the Lo-Carbon motor carries a 5-year guarantee under normal use.
