With a cooling capacity of 8,000 BTU and a maximum airflow of 325m³/hour, this unit is built to provide relief during the hottest summer days. Despite its powerful performance, it’s still economical to run thanks to its impressive A energy rating, consuming just 1030W of power and costing around 30.9p per hour (based on 27.03p/kWh).
Quiet, effective, and simple to use
With a minimum noise level of just 53dB, the MC8000 is quiet enough for everyday use, whether you’re sleeping, working, or relaxing. It features two fan speeds, a dust filter, and an integrated dehumidifying function, helping remove excess moisture from the air while it cools — reducing humidity and that uncomfortable, sticky feeling indoors.
Customised comfort with a built-in timer
The easy-to-read LCD display, included remote control, and 24-hour timer make it simple to manage your indoor climate throughout the day and night. You can set the unit to turn on or off automatically, ideal for pre-cooling your bedroom before sleep or ensuring a comfortable workspace during office hours. With an operating temperature range starting from 16°C, you’re in full control of your comfort.
Two window kits included for flexible setup
To make installation simple and efficient, the MC8000 comes complete with two types of window kits. The standard window kit is perfect for use with sash or sliding windows, offering a sturdy, panel-based seal that directs warm air outdoors and improves cooling efficiency.
Also included is a flexible window kit, ideal for irregular or larger window shapes. This soft-fabric solution is easy to fit and ensures a better seal than makeshift alternatives, helping to prevent hot air from leaking back inside. Having both window kit styles in the box means you’re ready to install your air conditioner right out of the packaging — no extra purchases required.
