Product Information
The ATK-25 220/12 from Blauberg is a low-voltage step-down transformer designed specifically for use with 12 V/50 Hz residential extractor fans (such as in bathrooms or wet-rooms). It converts a standard 220-250 V mains supply to a safe 12 V output, making it suitable for damp zones and installations where direct mains voltage may present extra risk.
This unit is built with safety and reliability in mind. It features SELV (Separated Extra-Low Voltage) output, overload protection by thermal fuse, and a plastic casing for durability and insulation. It is designed for indoor wall surface mounting in areas where moderate heat and humidity are present.
In terms of specification and installation factors: the transformer is suitable for fans with a maximum motor power of up to about 16 W (25 VA) and a load current of up to about 2 A. It must be mounted with adequate air circulation around it (not above heating equipment) to prevent overheating. There are also variants with timer or humidity-sensor control depending on your ventilation setup
