Product Information
This Vent-Axia fan is part of the Lo-Carbon VA150 series and is built for kitchen or utility room use. It features a long-life DC motor that is rated to last up to five times longer than conventional motors, while also providing energy savings up to ~60 %. The fan uses a motorised shutter mechanism that only opens when the fan is running, thereby preventing unwanted airflow when it’s off.
In terms of performance, the VA150HP delivers an extraction rate of about 230 m³/h (≈ 64 l/s) on boost mode, suitable to exceed typical Building Regulations requirements for kitchen ventilation. Noise levels are kept moderate—around 36 dB(A) at 3 m in boost mode. The humidistat is adjustable (typically 60–95 % RH), so the fan can automatically activate when moisture levels rise.
From an installation and usability perspective, the VA150HP is rated IP44, making it suitable for wet areas, and it supports wall, ceiling, window, or panel mounting. At installation, one of two speed settings can be chosen to best match ducting layout or room size. It also comes with a 5-year motor guarantee, underscoring its design for durability.
