The Garo GMS5EV40R is a compact 5-module metal consumer unit designed specifically for EV charging installations, providing essential circuit protection and isolation in one convenient enclosure. Supplied with a 40A RCBO, surge protection device (SPD) and isolator, it provides a dedicated protection solution for electric vehicle charging circuits. The 5-module design keeps the installation compact while providing a professional and organised way to house the required EV charging protection equipment.

The unit features a 40A Type A RCBO, combining overcurrent and residual current protection within a single protective device. A Type 2 SPD helps protect connected equipment against transient voltage surges, while the 100A isolator provides a convenient means of safely disconnecting the supply when required. The consumer unit is rated IP65, providing protection against dust and water ingress for suitable indoor and outdoor installations.
