The Aico Ei208 is a reliable standalone carbon monoxide alarm designed to provide early warning of dangerous carbon monoxide levels in domestic environments. Powered by a sealed lithium battery with a 10-year lifespan, the alarm is designed to remain operational throughout its service life without requiring battery replacement. Its proven electrochemical sensor continuously checks carbon monoxide levels every four seconds, helping provide accurate and dependable detection.

Built-in AudioLINK+ technology allows alarm data to be extracted using a compatible smartphone or tablet. The AudioLINK+ app can provide useful information including previous alarm activations, carbon monoxide levels detected, background CO levels and battery status, making it particularly useful for landlords, property managers and maintenance professionals. A pre-alarm LED provides an early visual warning, while dedicated power, alarm, fault and diagnostic indicators make the alarm's status easy to identify.

The Ei208 features a loud 85dB(A) piezoelectric alarm at 3 metres and includes a large Test/Hush button for straightforward testing and silencing. Its twist-on mounting base and supplied fixings make installation simple, while the alarm can also be free-standing where appropriate. Measuring 120mm x 105mm x 45mm, the Ei208 is suitable for a range of domestic locations and complies with BS EN 50291-1:2018 and BS EN 50291-2:2019. It is a standalone alarm and does not interconnect with other alarms.
